Yggdrasil Cards LLC ("Yggdrasil Cards," "we," "our," or "us") operates yggdrasilcards.com (the "Site") and sells trading cards and collectibles. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are an independent retailer and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Pokemon Company, Nintendo, Bandai, Toei Animation, Shueisha, Konami, PSA, or any other manufacturer or rights holder.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you contact us (for example, emailing info@yggdrasilcards.com), we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message. When you purchase directly from us, we collect the information needed to fulfill the order: your name, shipping address, email, and order details. Payment is handled by third-party payment processors; we never receive or store your full payment card number.
Information collected automatically. Like nearly all websites, our hosting infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) records standard server logs when you visit, including IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use these logs for security, abuse prevention, and operations. We do not use advertising trackers.
Cookies
The Site currently sets no cookies during normal browsing. If we add features that require a preference cookie (such as remembering a consent choice) or optional analytics, they are described in our Cookie Policy. Embedded media players (such as Twitch or YouTube) load only when you choose to interact with them, and the third party may set its own cookies at that point, governed by its own privacy policy.
Analytics
We do not currently run a third-party analytics service. If we add one, we will use a privacy-preserving, cookieless tool, and this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated to describe it.
How we use information
We use the information described above to respond to your messages, fulfill and ship orders, provide receipts and tracking, prevent fraud and abuse, operate and secure the Site, and comply with legal obligations such as tax recordkeeping.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate: our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services), payment processors, shipping carriers, and email services, each only to the extent needed to perform their function. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our customers, or others.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Order records are retained as required for tax and accounting purposes. Correspondence is retained as long as useful for serving you.
Your choices and rights
You may email info@yggdrasilcards.com at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion of information we are not legally required to keep. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we honor verified requests consistent with those laws.
Children
The Site is a retail storefront intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party sites
The Site links to third-party marketplaces and streaming platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to review.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date.
